Flickr

Flickr is an image and video hosting website and was one of the earliest Web 2.0 applications. In addition to being a popular Web site for users to share personal photographs, the service is widely used by bloggers as a photo repository. Its popularity has been fueled by its organization tools, which allow photos to be tagged and browsed.

Facebook

Facebook gives people the power to share and makes the world more open and connected. Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet. Sharing on Facebook isn't just about family news or vacation pictures; it's also about your favorite stores and restaurants, helping you and your friends find great new choices and resources. It's also an important part of how a young business gets established.

Facebook is a software application that allows users to make voice calls over the internet to other users of the service and has additional features including instant messaging, file transfer, and video conferencing. These web tools can benefit a business by saving them time and money on travel expenses and phone calls.

Twitter

As of March 2009, Twitter has received extensive visibility and popularity worldwide. Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 bytes in length. Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends. Users can send and receive updates via the Twitter website, SMS, RSS (receive only), or through applications such as Tweetie, Twitterrific, Twitterfon, TweetDeck and Feedalizr. The service is free to use over the web, but using SMS may incur phone services provider fees.

Twitter is a great benefit for the business world because of the ability to easily and affordably communicate with others and saves the business time and money on travel expence. They can also monitor their customers and find out what they like and dislike about their product.

Skype

Skype was founded in 2003 by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis. Skype created a little piece of software that makes communicating with people around the world easy and fun. With Skype you can say hello or share a laugh with anyone, anywhere. And if both of you are on Skype, it’s free. Skype is available in 28 languages and is used in almost every country around the world.

Skype is a great tool for business because it saves time, cuts cost, and work smarter. Sending files over skype means that conference calls can start with everyone looking at the right documents and a instant way to share photo and video coverage of their major events.
